Semester Based Registration & Policies
Registration for Arts For Healing therapy services is ongoing throughout the year, although we encourage you to register well before Labor Day to secure your preferred session(s).
Fees for year-long therapy sessions and adaptive music lessons will be divided into two equal payments. Prepayment for the Fall semester is due by September and by January for the Winter/Spring semester.
For 16-week semester, fees are due in full before the first class. For any registration after these dates, payment is due in full at time of registration and will be pro-rated based on enrollment date.
AFH will consider alternative payment plans upon request.
Arts For Healing reserves the right to cancel group classes due to insufficient enrollment. Tuition will be fully refunded.
Assessment and Placement
To ensure a client’s optimal placement with a therapist, parents/guardians of first time clients are required to interview in person with their child with Clinical/Founding Director, Karen Nisenson. The initial consultation is complimentary
Therapy sessions and Adaptive Music lessons are scheduled based on client and therapist availability. Arts For Healing makes every effort to accommodate each client’s schedule in assigning sessions.
Change of Therapist
Arts For Healing makes the best possible match before therapy sessions begin. However, if a substitute or change becomes necessary or desired, Arts For Healing will work in partnership with a client’s parents/guardians to recommend a solution that best meets the client’s needs.
