Home Based Programs

Many parents are aware of the power of music to stimulate and develop the brain. However, what they don’t realize is that pairing certain musical activities with specific phases of a child’s development helps achieve necessary milestones for healthier social, emotional and academic growth. Arts For Healing is now offering home based programs in order to fulfill the needs of children at various developmental stages, helping parents learn how to encourage physical, cognitive and social/emotional growth through music.

Through a series of improvisational, interactive musical activities, the child will learn a new form of expression, one that will carry over to his or her relationship with the rest of the family. Instruments will be brought to the home and will be combined with any musical instruments the child owns.
